Hegel as a Hermetic Thinker

According to Glenn Magee, understanding Hegel’s hermetic roots is at least as important as understanding his work as an idealist critic of Kant. There are 7 doctrinal tendencies, in particular, which Magee draws on to link the two together, and whose connection he sees as all the more substantive in light of Hegel’s immense familiarity with the Hermetic tradition. These doctrinal links are available in this chart.
